Young Wess, born in South-East Jamaica Queens, derives a charisma and style unique to successes in his struggle. As an emerging writer and performing artist he continues to educate himself to stay knowledgeable and relevant in the music industry. 

As a striving multi-media producer creating music and directing commercial and video content, Young Wess loves the creative process and wouldn't trade it for anything. "An artist at best, a creator at most, at least a writer" is how he describes himself. 

His most recent collaboration with the amazing singer, Ashley Fils-Aime, on the multi-genre smash single, "The BreakUp" is truly a test of time. The song, projected to be listed at #4 on Wess' forthcoming album, "The MakeOver" is quickly becoming a beloved sound. 

Writing has always been a means of release for Wess, as it allows him the time and space to be creative. With the additional skill set of video production, Wess has been producing video content and working to perfect his process. 

His musical genius stems from countless hours in many different studios and creative spaces. In addition to building a recording studio lab in the basement of York College and assisting to produce multiple commercials and television shows, Wess also teaches music and media production in various schools across NYC.
